Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Friday recorded a rise in daily Covid cases with 61 new positives in different districts of the State in the last 24 hours.
According to the data shared by the Information & Public Relations Department, as many as 61 new Covid positive cases were reported in eight districts and the State Pool. A total of 73 persons were infected with the virus on Thursday.
There are 11 children in the 0-18 age group. Out of the total 61 cases, 36 are quarantine cases while the rest 25 are local contacts. Currently, there are 391 active cases in the State.
Khordha reports 36 Covid positives today followed by State Pool, Cuttack, and Sundergarh with 8, 7, and 5 positives respectively. Likewise, Bhadrak, Balangir, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, and Rayagada recorded one positive case each.
