Bhubaneswar: The quick action team of the Commissionerate Police on Sunday cracked a gang of motorcycle lifters, which targeted two-wheelers at various parking places in the capital city.
The police arrested three thieves, including the chief of the gang Dusmanta Subudhhi. They also recovered as many as 13 stolen two-whelers from the gang.
During interrogation, the police found that the culprits would use different kind of tools to break the locks and cut the ignition wire to start the engine of the two-whelers.
The police said some other people are also associated with the gang and they would be caught soon.
