Balangir: A girl has been found hanging inside her college hostel room at Sakama village under Loisingha police limits in Balangir district. The deceased has been identified as Asha Meher.
Reportedly, the deceased was a plus two science student at Yuvodaya College of Advanced Technology. Her inmates of the college spotted her hanging body and immediately informed the same to the respective college authorities.
Thereafter, the college authorities reported the matter to local police along with her family members. On getting the information, the Loisingha police arrived at the spot and recovered the body.
From the preliminary investigation, it is being suspected to be a suicide. A probe has been initiated to ascertain the cause behind her death, said police.
