Angul: A number of passengers had a close shave after a bus carrying them overturned near Nakachi on NH-55 in Angul district today.
The mishap took place while the bus was en-route to Sundergarh carrying passengers from Bhubaneswar in the morning and the driver lost control over the wheels due to some reason. As the bus skidded off the road and overturned at least 20 passengers sustained minor injuries.
Police rushed to the spot immediately and rescued the passengers trapped inside the mangled bus.
While the driver of the vehicle is absconding after the mishap, efforts are on to trace him.
