Bhubaneswar: The Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana- the registration for the BSKY Nabin card has started in Odisha today, said reliable reports.

Beneficiaries in rural Odisha who do not have Biju Health Kalyan Yojana card should start registration between 6 January to 15 January. In this phase, rural people deprived of BSKY will be provided cashless treatment facilities in private hospitals for critical diseases.

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that all households in rural areas, who are currently not in BSKY will be covered under this new scheme, excluding only government employees and income taxpayers.

It is worth mentioning that this scheme of BSKY has been very successful in Odisha and has spread joy among many. Whoever does not have a BSKY card in rural Odisha can register for one from 6 January to 15 January. They will all get new Nabin cards.

All registered private hospitals, both within and outside the state, will have treatment facilities for scheduled critical illnesses. The third phase of expansion will cover more than 1.10 lakh families of the state, which is about 90 percent of the population.

This is a revolutionary step, it will be a future model for the entire country.
