A series of accident involving three vehicles left at least two persons injured, one among them stated to critical in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar City this evening.
Bhubaneswar: A series of accident involving three vehicles left at least two persons injured, one among them stated to critical in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar City this evening.
The road accident reportedly took place near the Studio Chaka Road of Jagannath Vihar area of the State Capital City.
According to reports, several vehicles were on their way to Chandaka area from the Khandagiri Chaka. In the meantime a pickup-van reportedly hit a Maruti Suzuki Dzire from behind, which subsequently hit XUV vehicle.
On being informed, cops from the Bharatpur Police station rushed to the spot and started an investigation after seizing all three vehicles.
While the injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment police have detained some occupants of the vehicles to find out under what circumstances the road mishap occurred.
Meanwhile, it is claimed that the driver of the pick-up van was under the influence of alcohol.
