Bithal Bhardwaj registers his name into India Book of Records
Berhampur: Bringing laurels to the State of Odisha, a 11th Class student from Berhampur registered his name into the India Book of Records (IBR) after reciting 13 verses of Bhagbat Geeta in one minute.
As per reports, Bithal Bhardwaj, a Class XI student of DAV Public School in Berhampur of Ganjam district was interested about Hindu religious text Bhagbat Geeta since childhood. He has been reciting verses of the holy text every day since last many years.
In the school one of his teachers came to know about Bithal’s talent and advised him to apply for India Book of Records. Accordingly, Bithal recorded his performance and sent the video to IBR. And now, his name has been added to this book of records.
Bithal lives with his family in Gajapati Nagar of Berhampu. Inspired by his father, he started getting by heart verses of Bhagbat Geeta as a child. However, in the meanwhile his father passed away. After demise of his father, Bithal is now living in the house of his maternal grandfather along with his mother. His grandfather also helps him understand meaning of any verse of Bhagbat Geeta that the student cannot understand.
Bithal uses to recite many verses of Geeta. He has given credit of his success to his teachers and parents. He has high hope of registering his name to the Guinness Book of World Records.
