Dhenkanal: At least three women sustained critical injuries after an auto-rickshaw carrying them turned turtle near Baunshapal village under Kamakhyangar police limits on Tuesday.
The victims have been identified as Sukesini Biswal (38), Suruti Sahu (35) and Anita Sahu (36).
As per the report, at least six persons from Basoi village had been to a nearby village in some work and were returning home in the morning when the mishap took place. The driver of the auto-rickshaw lost control over the wheels due to some reason near Baunshapal village causing the vehicle to overturn.
While all the passengers remained trapped in the mangled auto, local police rushed to the spot and rescued the critically injured trio to send to Kamkhyanagar hospital.
