9-year-old Bhubaneswar kid makes it to India Book of Records

Bhubaneswar: Bringing laurels to the State a nine year old Odia boy has made it to the India Book of Records in lieu of his special aptitude. The prodigy correctly answered 100 General Knowledge questions in 5 minutes and 34 seconds asked by IBR on January 19, 2022, for which he has received the appreciation letter.

Meet nine-year-old Slokansh Behera, son of Mr. Manas Ranjan Behera and Mrs. Chinmayee Behera of Bhubaneswar from Khorda districts of Odisha. He is also the nephew of popular Odia dancer-choreographer Pooja Mohapatra.

Seeing their child’s talent the family decided to register his name for IBR quiz. Later on January 19, the India Book of Records had conducted a contest where they asked questions on space, scientists, continents, inventors, founders, Ocean etc. In the competition Slokansh marked his name on the books of records by answering 100 of these questions correctly in 5 minutes and 34 seconds.

According to Slokansh’s family, he has always been curious about everything he comes across, and loves to know more about things like country, continents, oceans, space, etc. The older he got, his interest in gaining knowledge also increased. Gradually he even started showing interest towards Animation and pencil art.

Supporting his interest, his family registered his name for online education to where he could learn Photoshop, Video editing, Graphic designing, After effect and Graphic animation courses. Now Slokansh enjoy making 2D animation at home.

He has also been awarded as the Best Graphic Designer by the Academy he is currently pursuing his career from, said Slokansh’s family.

It is a joyful moment for the family members of the kid achiever as he has attained such a feat in this age. The state applauds his achievement.
