4 Months Advance Payment of Allowance to People of Odisha for Coronavirus

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government shall give 4 months advance allowance for widows, physically challenged persons and elderly persons.

The allowance will be paid in advance for 4 months namely: April, May, June and July.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik issued a directive in this regard said Minister Ashok Chandra Panda.

This advance will be paid due to Coronavirus outbreak said Panda who is in charge of Social Security & Empowerment of persons with Disability.

Sources say there are around 28 lakh beneficiaries of Madhu Babu Pension Yojana.

There are almost the same number of people under the National Social Assistance Programme in the state.
