Bhubaneswar: In yet another distressing incident, two motorists were killed after their scooter hit a divider atop the Acharya Vihar flyover in the capital. After hitting the divider, the shock threw them off and they landed on the road below the flyover. The incident occurred on Monday morning.

While the identity of the two victims is yet to be known, they are believed to be from Nayagarh district, as per police reports.

The reports revealed that they were coming on their scooter from Rasulgarh when they somehow lost their balance and hit a divider. Then they fell off the flyover and met a gruesome death.

The PCR van immediately rushed to Acharya Vihar and sent the bodies to Capital hospital for autopsy.

Since the bag found upon the victims contained fruits, Police believe that they had likely shopped for upcoming ‘Shavitri’ festival.
