South Africa set a target of 213 runs for Australia in the second semi-final match of AUS vs SA ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Kolkata: South Africa set a target of 213 runs for Australia in the second semi-final match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 played at Eden Garden in Kolkata. In today’s AUS vs SA match, South Africa scored 212 runs losing all wickets at the end of first inning.

In the first inning, David Miller scored 101 runs in 116 balls, while Heinrich Klaasen made 47 runs in 48 balls. From the Australian side, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins took three wickets each while Travis Head and Josh Hazlewood took double wickets each.

Earlier, South Africa won the toss and opted to bat against Australia. South Africa are currently on the second position in the points table with 14 points. On the other hand, Australia is in the third position with the same points but a slightly lower net run rate. This AUS vs SA is a knockout match, meaning the winning team goes to the final of World Cup 2023.
