Prophetic dreams or just luck? Man claims predicting Shami’s 7-wicket performance

A social media user named Dan Mateo claimed to have dreamt of Mohammed Shami’s seven-wicket haul a day before the semi-final clash.

A social media user named Dan Mateo claimed to have dreamt of Mohammed Shami’s seven-wicket haul a day before the semi-final clash of the ICC World Cup 2023. His post on X (formerly Twitter) is now going viral over the internet.

Mateo shared his dream on November 14, saying, “Saw a dream where Shami took 7 wickets in the semi final.”

His post didn’t gain much traction initially, but after India’s win over New Zealand, thanks to Shami’s record-breaking performance, the post went viral.

Mateo is now being flooded with requests from cricket fans to predict the outcome of the final, and even their personal futures.

In a follow-up tweet, Mateo said he too is stunned by the accuracy of his dream.

Shami’s seven wickets for 57 runs off 9.5 overs at an economy rate of 5.79 is the best-ever wicket haul by an Indian bowler in a 50-over World Cup. He is also the fastest bowler to reach 50 World Cup wickets, achieving the milestone in just 17 innings.

“Please take a deep sleep and script the winning final for us,” commented one user. “Blud was there when they were writing the WC script,” said another. Many users asked him to dream about their future. Some even asked if he can actually look into the future and tell them who will be the next US President.
