In recent news, the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final will be held in New Jersey. On Sunday, the world soccer’s governing body FIFA announced that the game will be held at the home of the National Football League’s New York Giants and New York Jets.

Notably, the FIFA World Cup 2026 is set to kick start from June 11, 2024. It will conclude on July 19, 2024, at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.

The 48-team tournament will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Notably, Canada will be hosting a total of 13 games. This will include 10 games during the group stage in Mexico, Guadalajara, and Monterrey.

It is noteworthy mentioning that the MetLife stadium opened in the year 2010. It is an open air stadium with a seating capacity of 82,500. This stadium also hosted the Copa America Centenario finals in the year 2016.

The first match of FIFA World Cup 2026 will be held on June 12 in Canada. Notably, Canada has never hosted a World Cup game till date. Moreover, the opening game in the United States will be played at the stadium in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the kick off time for the games is yet to be announced by FIFA.
