Dubai: The action of Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2024 is underway. The first set of the auction of capped batters has come to an end where four players remain unsold.

The first purchase if made by Rajasthan Royals. Rovman Powell goes to the team for Rs 7 crore and 40 lakhs. Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals bought Harry Brook for Rs 4 crores.

The Australian cricketer, who clinched century in the final match against India of World Cup 2023, Travis Head, has gone to Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rs 6.80 crores.

Meanwhile, players including Rilee Rossouw, Karun Nair, Steven Smith and Manish Pander remain unsold in the first set of the IPL 2024 auction.

The IPL Auction 2024 will feature 333 cricketers who are scheduled to go under the hammer in Dubai. The program begun at 1 pm at the Coca-Cola Arena on December 19, 2023.
