Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and his wife Vini Raman have been blessed with the joys of parenthood as they welcomed their baby boy.
Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and his wife Vini Raman embraced the joys of parenthood as they welcomed their baby boy, named ‘Logan Maverick Maxwell,’ on September 11. Vini Raman, a Melbourne-based pharmacist of Indian descent, joyfully announced the arrival and shared an adorable photo of the newborn on her Instagram account.
Maxwell, who is presently recovering from an ankle injury, is expected to miss the upcoming match against India as he prioritizes careful preparation for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup later this year.
Vini Raman, expressing her happiness, took to Instagram to share the joyous news, captioning a photo with the date and name, “11.09.2023 | Logan Maverick Maxwell.”
Due to persistent ankle soreness resulting from an injury at a friend’s gathering last year, Maxwell had to sit out of the recent T20I series in South Africa. Despite this setback, he remains determined to regain fitness and aims to contribute to Australia’s performance in the upcoming ODI series against India.

The couple’s journey began when they met at a mutual friend’s wedding in 2017, subsequently embarking on a romantic relationship. They exchanged engagement vows in March 2020 in a traditional Indian ceremony and proceeded to have a double wedding in March 2022 – first, a Christian ceremony in Australia, followed by a traditional Tamil ceremony in Melbourne.
