The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), has issued a fresh notification inviting applications for recruitment of specialist and other posts. Interested and eligible candidates go for the walk-in interview for SAIL’s Bhilai Steel Plant on April 9, 2022.

Candidates applying for the positions should not be more than 69 years as on April 9, 2022.

Date and Time: April 9, 2022 at 10 AM (Reporting time 09.30 AM).
Venue: Human Resource Development Centre, (Near BSP Main Gate), Bhilai Steel Plant, Bhilai 490001.

SAIL Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Super Specialist (Cardiology): MBBS with DM/Mch in Cardiology.

Specialists

General Medicine: MBBS with PG Diploma/ PG Degree in the relevant specialty.

Critical Care Medicine (Intensivist): MD/DNB General Medicine with one year experience in critical care medicine. OR MD/DNB Anaesthesia with one year experience in critical care medicine. OR MD/DNB Respiratory Medicine with one year experience in critical care medicine. OR Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM). OR Indian Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (IFCCM).

Transfusion Medicine: Post Graduate degree MD/DNB in Transfusion Medicine. OR MD in lmmuno-Haematology and Blood Transfusion. OR DNB in lmmuno-Haematology and Blood Transfusion OR MD in Pathology with two years’ experience in blood banking or transfusion medicine.

General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): MBBS.

Essential Qualification:

The Doctors who are registered with MCI or having valid practitioner licence, apart from other essential requirements as defined above are only eligible to be considered for engagement.
2. The Doctors having relevant work experience shall be given preference. The essential qualification and work experience, if any, shall be taken into account as on the date of Walk-in interview.

Who can Apply for SAIL Recruitment 2022

Doctors retired from BSP or from other units of SAIL.
Doctors retired from other PSE/Government offices.
Any other Doctor fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

The ex-employee of SAIL and other PSUs/ Govt. who have separated by opting voluntary retirement shall not be considered for engagement. The ex-employee doctors will have to provide self-certificate in this regard,” read the official notification.

Tenure of Engagement

The initial tenure of contractual engagement of Doctors would be for a period of one year which can be further extended for a period of one year at the discretion of the Company. The tenure of engagement shall be subject to the upper age limit of 70 years.

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates will be based on:

Document Verification : Only those candidates who are found eligible by the Document Verification Committee will be allowed to appear in the Interview.

Interview – For final selection, merit list will be prepared in descending order separately for each discipline & category on the basis of total marks obtained in the Interview. The interview will be held between 12 am to 5 pm on the same day. Only those candidates who are found eligible by the Document Verification Committee will be allowed to appear in the Interview.
