National Testing Agency to hold recruitment exam for 553 vacancies in Patent Office

A recruitment notification has been released by NTA for Examiner of Patents and Designs posts. NTA will conduct the recruitment procedure for the position of Examiner of Patents and Designs.
A total of 553 vacancies will be filled for the above-mentioned posts under DR Quota in the Patent Office under the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
NTA Recruitment 2023 Examination phases
The selection process of the recruitment drive will be done through three phases. First the candidate will have to appear for computer-based test (CBT -Primary, Main paper-I) then Mains Paper-II for Descriptive Test (Offline) – 14 different disciplines. The candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for offline interviews.

Announcement of the Exam city information: December 12 and 13
Primary examination: December 21
Admit cards: Three to four days before of the examination date.
Display of Question Paper attempted by the Candidate and Answer Keys for inviting challenges: 26 to 27 December 2023
Results: First week of January, 2024
According to the official notification, NTA will inform the candidates about the examination process through their registered e-mail address and/or SMS.
