Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar is hiring eligible candidates for the post of Library Professional Trainee on a temporary basis. Candidates with computer knowledge will get the preference.

According to the official notification of IIT Recruitment 2023, there are 04 vacancies for the Library Professional Trainee. The selected candidates will be appointed for 02 years and will get a monthly stipend of Rs 18000. The maximum Age Limit for the Library Professional Trainee is 26 years.

Interested and eligible candidates submit the duly filled online application form by 19.04.2023. After completing the online application, the candidate should take a print out the completed application and submit the same along with the passport photo and self-attested copies of certificates on the date of the walk-in interview at the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, Argul, Khurda, Odisha – 752050, on 24.04.2023 . The interview will start by 10 am and candidates need to report at the venue by 9 am.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Library Professional Trainee post must have a First Class in Masters in Library and Information Science or equivalent from a recognized Institute/University having a good academic record. Applicants with relevant Computer Knowledge will be preferred.

Age limit  

The maximum Age Limit for the Library Professional Trainee is 26 years. Age relaxation for SC, ST, & PD category candidates (up to an age Limit – of 31 years) & OBC (Up to an age Limit – 29 years) will be applicable as per Govt. of India rules.

Salary for IIT Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2023

The Selected candidate will get a monthly stipend of Rs.18000  with no additional perk.
