Don’t have Cash? Not a problem, give me online: Guwahati’s beggar begs with PhonePe QR Code, Watch

In the era of digital world, we hardly carry any cash with us and prefer to pay more online. The digital payment system is accepted by all the shops and business. However, a beggar from Guwahati of Assam has grabbed attention of internet with his unique begging style. A video of the beggar begging with a PhonePe QR code hanging on his neck to seek alms online is going viral over the internet.

The video has been shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by user @somanigaurav. In the video, a beggar identified as Dashrath was seen accepting alms through digital payments. He is seen wearing PhonePe card with a QR code around his neck. In the clip, the beggar approaches two people in a car, and one of them scans the QR code to send him Rs 10.

This is not the first time when a beggar was seeking for donation via digital payments. Earlier, a Bihar man was seen asking for alms at Bettiah Railway Station by giving people options to pay him via digital mode with a QR code placard around his neck and a digital tablet.
