A company is offering $10K to people who can give up smartphone for a month. The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years.

The year 2024 has started and we are already in the fourth week of January. At the beginning of a new year there are some weird challenges on the internet but we have come across one which makes a lot of sense. If you are someone who is dealing with smartphone addiction and want to keep away from your device, this challenge might help you. A company is offering $10K to people who can give up smartphone for a month.

Siggi’s Dairy, also known as siggi’s, is an Icelandic-style yogurt manufacturing company. They are encouraging people to take a 30 days old challenge and get a chance to win $10,000 and other prizes. The New York-based company said, “We believe in the power of living a simpler life with fewer distractions.”

“One of the biggest distractions in our lives today is our phone. In fact, the average person spends 5.4 hours on their phones each day!” added the company.

The interested candidates are supposed to submit a 100 to 500 word essay on the application describing why they need a digital detox. The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years. 10 potential winners will be selected on Feb. 15 to participate in the no-smartphone challenge. They will receive $10,000, a smartphone lockbox, a flip phone and much more.
