Woman gang-raped in front of his husband in Odisha’s Dhenkanal, 2 held

A woman was gang-raped by five people while she was returning home with her husband in Baruan village in Dhenkanal.

Dhenkanal: In a shocking incident, a woman was gang-raped by five people while she was returning home with her husband in Baruan village, under Bhuban police station in Dhenkanal.

As per police, on October 20, the couple from Kalringata village was riding their bike back home from Bhuban when the five people stopped near the canal.

The five people robbed their cellphones, raped the woman in front of his spouse, and ran out of the place, said police.

The victims promptly filed a written complaint at the Bhuban police station. Following the day, a medical examination was also conducted at the Dhenkanal Medical Centre.

According to reports, the Dhenkanal Superintendent of Police, Gyanranjan Mohapatra, has reported that two out of five people have been detained, and the other three are yet to be apprehended.
