Utkela Airport in Kalahandi district gets DGCA license to start flight operations

The Utkela Airport in Kalahandi district has received the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) license to start flight operations.

Bhubaneswar: In a matter of joy for the people of Kalahandi district, the Utkela Airport has received the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) license to start flight operations.

Taking to his X handle, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik informed about the development. He also said that the flight operations from the Utkela Airport to Bhubaneswar will commence soon.

The Chief Minister stated that the flight operation from the Utkela Airport will boost connectivity, commerce and tourism, fulfilling aspirations of people of the region.

“Glad to share that #UtkelaAirport in #Kalahandi district has received DGCA license to start flight operations. Soon flight operations will commence to #Bhubaneswar. It will boost connectivity, commerce & tourism, fulfilling aspirations of people of the region,” Patnaik wrote on his X handle.
