Students and parents protest teacher’s transfer, lock school gate in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In a unique piece of news, students and parents have protested against the transfer of a teacher in Dhenkanal district of Odisha, said reports.

Such a situation has been observed in Dhenkanal Sadar Block Ghamakhunti Upper Primary (UP) School. Students and parents have suggested canceling a teacher transfer. There are 153 students from the first standard to the eighth standard.

The school committee had earlier informed the District Administrator for the transfer of a teacher. Now the students have come up with the idea of ​​canceling the change.

Traffic to Kapilas has been obstructed as hundreds of students are sitting on the road in front of the school. The police and the ABO of Sadar police station have arrived and after discussion, the students gave up the idea.
