Bonai: In a tragic road accident in Bonai of Sundargarh district in Odisha, one person was killed said reports on Monday. Reports say that, late at night near Jakeikala village in Bonai sub-district of Sundargarh, a bolero lost its balance and hit a tree and overturned. The driver of the vehicle was killed on the spot.
According to the information available, Murali Dhar Sahu (Pinku), the younger son of Dhubei Charan Sahu of Meeuldia village, was returning home late at night after seeing the Bonai Chaitra Mela.
Due to some reason, his vehicle bearing registration number OD 07R-0455 lost control and hit a tree first and overturned on the side of the road. Some people passing by the road and local people heard the terrible noise and reached the scene and called the police and 108 ambulance.
Later, in the presence of the police, the rider was taken to the sub-district hospital by ambulance, where the doctor declared him brought dead. Reliable reports say that the police have cordoned off the spot where the accident in Bonai took place and are investigating the incident.
