Odisha: Woman killed in road accident in Balasore, man critical

Balasore: In a fatal road accident in Balasore district of Odisha a young woman has been killed on the spot and a man is critically injured on Friday.

According to reports, the accident took place on Remuna Hospital Bypass Road under Balasore Industrial Police Station limits. The young woman life was lost on the spot in an accident.

Reports say that, a young man and a young woman were traveling on a scooter when a ten-wheeler truck coming from the opposite direction ran them over.

The young woman was killed on the spot while the young man was critical and has been admitted to the nearby hospital, said reliable reports on Friday.

The police has reached the spot and seized the body of the woman and sent it for postmortem. A detailed report in this matter is awaited. The identity of the deceased and the injured is yet to be ascertained.
