Bhubaneswar: The state is likely to experience heavy rainfall as low pressure develops over the Bay of Bengal. Forecasts suggest that the low pressure is likely to intensify into a deep depression, causing heavy to very heavy rainfall in several areas across the state.
Heavy rain showers are anticipated in the state from the third week of July. The anticipated heavy rainfall in Odisha is said to continue till the end of the month, starting from July 18.
As per predictions by the meteorological department, another low pressure is likely to form on July 24. The latter is also cause heavy rainfall in Odisha.
