Bhubaneswar: A mega campaign has been launched in Bhubaneswar today on the three Rs that help in saving the environment which are Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
The of the 3Rs campaign is to make our environment free from waste. Team Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has appealed to all to join the campaign by donating items, reusing items and reducing the waste generated. Bhubaneswar First
The BMC officials further clarified that, very soon kiosks will be opened in various locations of the city where citizens can donate items that can be processed and converted into valuable commodities.
The Mayor of Bhubaneswar Sulochana Das, along with BMC Commissioner Vijay Amruta Kulange launched the city-wide campaign and appealed all to join this initiative.
The details of the items that can be donated and the place of donation will be shared soon. A small demonstration on banned items and eco-friendly items was also done during the launch program.
Additional Commissioner Zone-II, Zonal Deputy Commissioner (ZDCs), Deputy Commissioner Sanitaion, Corporator, Team BMC, Utkal Galleria representatives and locals participated in the launch program.
