Puri: On the occasion of the holy Manabasa Gurubar something very strange has occurred in Puri Jagannath temple in Odisha. A group of rats have visited Srimandir.

Rats are considered to be the vahan (transport vehicle) of Goddess Laxmi who is worshipped on Manabasa Gurubar in Odia homes for wealth and prosperity. And it seems in the video that they are ecstatic to have visited Lord Jagannath.

The rats have not only visited Srimandir but also said Jai Jagannath which is clearly audible in the video. These rats in cute clothes belong to a woman from West Bengal. She is seen treating them like her children and giving them love in the video.

In the video the rats have been seen wearing attractive and cute winter garments. In the video the rats are basically seen talking to the woman. The woman asks them to say Jay Jagannath and lo and behold, one of the rats says, “Jay Jagannath”.

The woman and the rats are seen paying their obeisance to the Lord near the entrance gate, that is Singhadwar of Srimandir. Seeing this strange yet astonishing phenomena, the devotees have been mesmerized, said reliable reports in this regard.
