Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik thanks people of State for success in Panchayat polls

Bhubaneswar: Odisha CM cum supremo of Biju Janata Dal Naveen Patnaik thanked people of the State as well as party workers for the huge success of the party in the panchayat elections. The CM talked to MPs, MLAs, District Presidents and Observers of party on virtual mode today and cautioned against rumors spread by opponents.

BJD has started preparation for the Urban Local body polls. On this occasion the Naveen Patnaik thanked the party workers and Odisha residents for the landslide victory.

Patnaik said that residents of Odisha have banked on BJD.  People from all areas have blessed the party. The result of the panchayat polls has created a history. During the preparation of ULB polls he cautioned party workers to remain alert against fake rumours spread by the opponents.

The CM said that during Panchayat Polls opponents spread many rumours. They created fake stories to criticize government. Oppositions have done negative politics. In the coming polls also they may repeat. He advised the party workers to remain alert to unmask such fake rumours mask in front of people. He said that it is the responsibility of all the party workers to do so.

BJD believes in positive politics. The great achievement in the last poll was — the poorest people in the unreachable areas showed their trust towards the party. This message should be conveyed, he said.

Transformative Governance and peoples empowerment is our hallmark.  The Jaga Mission for the poor people of the urban areas has created a new benchmark. He has suggested to put hard effort in the upcoming ULB polls like they did during the panchayat polls.
