According to information, the car lost its balance and fell down near Jhatiapada on National Highway No. 53 in Jajpur district.
Three passengers in the car were seriously injured when the car overturned in the Kuanriya canal under the bridge. It has been reported that such an accident took place when the car was returning from Duburi to Cuttack.
Firefighters reached the spot and rescued the injured and sent them to Badachana Medical Center. However, they have been shifted to Cuttack Medical Center as their health condition is serious.
It is reported that the car fell down the bridge while the National Highway No. 53 widening work was going on because the bridge was old and had no side railings.
On the other hand, due to the delay in the expansion of the national highway, it is seen that there are frequent accidents on this national highway.
