A massive fire broke out at two tyre shops at Gandhi Chhak in Baripada today and plumes of thick and black smoke were seen billowing into the sky
Baripada: A massive fire broke out at two tyre shops at Gandhi Chhak in Baripada today morning and plumes of thick and black smoke were seen billowing into the sky.
Both the shop were reduced into ashes. Properties worth lakhs were destroyed in the fire.
Reports say, some onlookers spotted fire in the shop and informed the fire personnel. On being informed about the fire, the fire tenders immediately pressed into service and tried to douse the flame. After one hour they were able to control the blaze.
The exact reason behind the fire incident in yet to be ascertained.
