Kerala woman found dead in lodge in Berhampur, husband absconding

Berhampur: A woman was found dead in a lodge room at Goilundi-Kortpeta road in Odisha’s Berhampur last evening.
Abdul Paripalip aged between 40-45 years, according to Lodge register, is a resident of Kerala had come to Berhampur along with her husband Samson S on Nov 19 for some work at the MKCG hospital.
According to reports, when the lodge staff had gone to clean the room yesterday morning , there was no response from the room. Later, they informed the Baidyanath police station.
On being informed about the incident, the police reached the spot and broke the door and found dead body of the woman lying. It is suspected that the woman had died two days ago.
The husband who came along with her is absconding and there is no trace of him. The reason behind the woman’s death is yet to be ascertained.
The police is investigating the matter in various angles.
