Female elephant hit by train in Keonjhar, severely injured
The accident reportedly took place in when a heard of elephants was crossing the track. The female elephant has been severely injured.
Keonjhar: In a recent incident, a female elephant was found severely injured after getting hit by a train.
The incident took place at the Tangriapal Railway station in Daitari village. A herd of elephants was crossing the track in the late hours of night when a train hit the female elephant, leaving her gravely injured.
Reportedly, the forest department reached the spot to examine the elephant’s health conditions. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
