Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister and BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik on Sunday paid tribute to the economist, social reformer and chief architect of the constitution Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on his 128th birth anniversary.
Calling him the ‘champion of social justice’, CM Naveen wrote on Twitter, “Humble tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr.#BRAmbedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution and champion of #SocialJustice on his birth anniversary.#AmbedkarJayanti.”

President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and several other Union Ministers offered floral tributes to Babasaheb Ambedkar at his statue located in the lawns of the Parliament in New Delhi.
PM Modi also paid homage to Babasaheb on Twitter.
