At least three persons were injured after the boundary wall of AIIMS Bhubaneswar collapsed on them today.
Bhubaneswar: At least three persons were injured after a portion of the boundary wall of AIIMS Bhubaneswar collapsed on them today.
The boundary wall of the central government-run hospital collapsed on them when several people were standing near it. It collapsed following heavy rain in the State Capital City today.
Soon, a team of fire servicemen searched the spot after getting information and carried out the rescue operations. The three injured persons were rushed to casualty of the hospital for treatment.
However, the search operation by the fire fighters to trace people being trapped under the debris, if any, is still underway.
According to the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), intense downpours accumulated 186 mm of rain over Bhubaneswar between 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM today.
