Bhubaneswar Headless Murder Mystery: Cash Reward Of Rs 50,000 For Informer Announced

Bhubaneswar: In its bid to identify the unknown woman whose beheaded body was found from the outskirts of Bhubaneswar two days ago, the Commissionerate Police on Saturday announced a cash reward for the informer.

The Commissionerate Police, on its Twitter handle, said that it would provide Rs 50,000 to those who would provide information about the deceased woman.

The informer can contact the city police by dialing 8280338323 (IIC) or 8280338296 (ACP) and give necessary information about the woman and win the cash prize.

Earlier in the day, the Commissionerate Police circulated posters and also pasted them in public places across the Capital City with an aim to get some information from the public. The posters have been printed in Odia and Hindi languages.

In the posters, the cops said that the deceased woman is 5’3 inches tall. She is a medium figured woman with wheatish complexion.

This apart, the posters revealed that the lady, is estimated to be 30-35 years old, had a tattoo beneath her elbow on the right hand.

On January 4, her headless body was spotted lying in a bushy area on the Andharua-Daspur Road on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
