Bhubaneswar: Taking the Apollo Hospital fire mishap, which took place here yesterday, with serious note the district administration has formed a three-member team to probe the cause behind it on Sunday.
The three-member probe team which will be headed by Khordha ADMO has been told to submit its report on the incident by February 6, informed Khordha Collector to media.
The team has been assigned with the task of ascertaining the cause of the fire, he added.
Notably, fire broke out in the battery room located adjacent to the IC U in the fifth floor of the Apollo Hospital yesterday morning. The incident which took place at around 10.45 am forced the hospital authorities to shift 26 patients to other hospitals in the city.
An electric short circuit is feared to be responsible for the blaze.
The privately-run 350-bed multi-speciality hospital is spread over 7.5 acres of land near Acharya Vihar Square.
