3 killed, 4 injured in separate road accidents in Odisha
As many as three persons were killed while four others were injured in separate road accidents at different places of Odisha today.
Phulbani/Jajpur: As many as three persons were killed while four others were injured in separate road accidents at different places of Odisha today.
In the first accident, two bikes collided near Nilungia village under G Udayagiri police station limits of Kandhamal district. All four persons who were on both the bikes sustained critical injuries following accident.
They were rushed to G Udayagiri Hospital for treatment. However, one of them was declared dead by the doctors. The other three are undergoing treatment and their condition is said to be critical.
Meanwhile, a team of cops from the G Udayagiri police station started an investigation after reaching the spot and sizing the bikes.
Likewise, a biker was killed while another was injured after being hit by an unknown vehicle near Neulpur Chhaka in Jajpur district today.
In the third incident, a biker died after being mowed down by a truck near Chandpur Chhaka of Jajpur Road. The deceased was identified as the resident of Jagatsinghpur area. The local police have started a probe into the matter.
