It is worth mentioning that the accident happened to a government bus. It has been reported that the bus suffered a tyre burst and the driver lost control over the wheels and it ploughed into the fields nearby.
The accident took place near Kusamala village under Dunguripalli police limits in Sonepur. Three people are said to be critically injured.
The bus was travelling from Bargarh to Nabrangpur when the accident took place. Rescue operations were underway by the locals and the police while filing of the report.
