12 hour bandh in Balangir over installation of Parshuram Idol in Patnagarh
A 12 hour bandh has been called in Balangir district due to the ongoing controversy on the installation of Parshuram idol.
Balangir: A 12 hour bandh has been called in Balangir district, from 6 AM to 6 PM today. As a result of which, all government and non-government offices, educational institutions, and shops will remain closed during the protest.
Transportation via buses has also been brought to a halt during the bandh.
The protest was announced by the ‘Hindu Jagran Manch.’ This was in response to the ongoing controversy on the installation of Parshuram idol in the Patnagarh block of the district. Further details awaited.
