Vishnu Deo Sai to be sworn in as Chhattisgarh Chief Minister on December 13

Vishnu Deo Sai, the former BJP president of Chhattisgarh and ex-Union Minister of State, will be sworn in as the new Chief Minister of the state on December 13, 2023.

New Delhi: Vishnu Deo Sai, the former BJP president of Chhattisgarh and ex-Union Minister of State, will be sworn in as the new Chief Minister of the state on December 13, 2023.

Sai’s appointment comes after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a comfortable majority in the recently concluded Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. He was chosen as the new Chief Minister by the party leadership and was formally invited by the Governor of Chhattisgarh, Biswabhusan Harichandan, to form the next government.

The swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held at the Science College Ground in Raipur and is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, other senior BJP leaders, and dignitaries.
