Telangana: BSR MLA G Lasya Nanditha dies in road accident in Hyderabad

Telangana: In a tragic incident, Telangana MLA G Lasya Nanditha lost her life in a car accident during the morning hours of Friday. The accident took place in Sangareddy during the morning hours of Friday, reliable reports confirmed.

According to reports, the 37-year-old Nanditha was going in an SUV when the vehicle lost control and collided with a divider on the Sultanpur Outer Ring Road near Aminpur mandal.

Nanditha received fatal injuries in the accident and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, the doctors declared her dead on arrival. The driver of the car was critically injured and is currently receiving treatment.

G Lasya Nanditha was a prominent face of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Telangana Legislative Assembly. In a statement issued by the BRS office, the party chied K Chandrashekhar Rao condoled Nanditha’s untimely demise. He even assured all possible help and support to her bereaved family.

Further, senior BRS leader KT Rama Rao also took to his official handle on X (formerly Twitter) to express his sorrow at Nanditha’s death. He wrote, “Just now heard the absolutely tragic & shocking news that Lasya is no more!! Woke up to the devastating loss of the young legislator who was a very good leader in the making. My heartfelt prayers for strength to her family and friends in this terrible & difficult time.”

Born in the year 1986, G Lasya Nanditha entered into politics about 10 years back. She worked as a corporator in the Kavadiguda ward before she was elected as Secunderabad Cantonment MLA in 2023. She secured the spot during the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.
