PM Narendra Modi releases 10th installment of financial benefit under PM-KISAN scheme, Know details

New-Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 10th instalment of financial benefit under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), transferring an amount of over ₹20,000 crore to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families on Saturday.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said the money transfer is in line with Modi’s continued commitment and resolve to empowering grassroots farmers.

Under the scheme, a financial benefit of 6,000 per year is provided to eligible farmer families, payable in three equal four-monthly installments of 2,000.

The fund is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. In this scheme, an amount of 1.6 lakh crore has been transferred so far to more than 11.5 beneficiary farmer families in the accounts of farmer families.

In the current financial year 2021-22, an amount of more than Rs 65,800 crore has been transferred to the beneficiary farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi PM Kisan Yojana: Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Agriculture Minister.

Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana,more than Rs 20,000 crore will be released to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmer families and more than Rs 14 crore equity grant will be released to about 351 FPOs, which will help more than 1.24 lakh farmers will benefit:Narendra Singh Tomar.

During the event, Prime Minister also released an equity grant of more than Rs 14 crores to about 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), which will benefit more than 1.24 lakh farmers.

• Go to the Farmers Corner, which is on the right side of the homepage.
• Select the Farmers Corner option.
• Click on the Beneficiary Status option.
• Share your Aadhaar number, bank account and your mobile number to check your name on the PM Kisan beneficiary list.
