Panaji: Amid the continuous surge in Covid-19 cases, the Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday has imposed night curfew till April 30. The night curfew will be in place from 10pm to 6 am.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the imposition of a lockdown should be the last option. Lockdown will not control coronavirus. We have to impose some restrictions to control the situation,” Sawant said while speaking to reporters.
The curfew will come into place from Wednesday night.
Today, Goa reported 1,502 new #COVID19 cases, 426 recoveries and 17 deaths, The tally rises to 70,814 active COVID 19 cases.
