NIA chargesheeted 2 more in ISIS-inspired Coimbatore bomb blast case of 2022

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday chargesheeted two more accused in the ISIS-inspired Coimbatore car bomb blast case of 2022. This was reported by ANI in a X post (formerly Twitter) today.

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday chargesheeted two more accused in the ISIS-inspired Coimbatore car bomb blast case of 2022. This was reported by ANI in a X post (formerly Twitter) today.

The two accused who were named in the supplementary charge sheet has been identified as Mohammed Azarudeen alias Azar and Mohammed Idris. Both of them are reportedly from Coimbatore.

The accused persons have been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the UA (P) Act and Explosive Substances Act.

After this, now the number of accused chargesheeted in the said case has increased to 13.

Earlier NIA had chargesheeted a total of 11 persons on 20th April and 2nd June last year.
