NEET PG 2024 likely to be held in first week of July

New Delhi: In a latest update, the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) Post Graduate (PG) 2024 examination is likely to be conducted in the first week of July, reliable sources confirmed.
Further, the counseling for NEET PG is likely to begin in the first week of August, said reliable reports in this regard.
Meanwhile, reports also state that the National Exit Test (NExT) is unlikely to be held this year. However, the official confirmation on the NEET PG 2024 exam dates is still awaited.
It is noteworthy mentioning that “Postgraduate Medical Education (Amendment) Regulations 2018” has been replaced by the “Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations 2023.” It states that NEET-PG exams will continue until NExT is approved eligible for PG admissions.
Notably, the NEET PG is an ranking examination whose marks determine the eligibility of candidates for their admissions to several MD/MS and PG Diploma courses under the National Medical Commission.
