Karnataka: In a rare incident the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Wednesday found money in the pipeline of a PWD Junior Engineer in Karnataka during a raid.
In a tweeter video posted by India Today it was seen that officers are recovering currency notes from the pipeline. The caption said, “ACB officials find money in the Pipeline of PWD Junior Engineer Shanta Gowda’s house in Kalaburagi, #Karnataka.”
It is to be noted that the anti-corruption bureau (ACB) officials on Wednesday launched simultaneous search operations in as many as 60 places across Karnataka targeting 15 government officials of various departments on charges of disproportionate assets.
The currency notes were stashed inside a water pipe in the house of PWD junior Engineer Shantagowda Biradar in Kalaburagi district with the help of a plumber, says reports.
