Jammu and Kashmir: 4 killed, 3 injured in road accident in Ramban

Four people lost their lives while three others sustained severe injuries in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district.

Jammu: In a tragic incident, four people lost their lives while three others sustained severe injuries in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Monday, said reports in this regard.

According to reports from reliable sources, a vehicle carr skidded off the road, causing the road accident in Ramban. Reportedly, after initial police investigation, identities of the deceased have been ascertained.

They have been identified as Abdul Wahid Bali, Anayattullah, Mohammad Ayoub Bali, and driver Sajjad Ahmed. The deceased were identified as residents of Pogal in Ramban district.

Reportedly, the vehicle was on its way to Ukhrall in Ramban district from Maligam when the driver lost control. Due to which, the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge, causing the accident. From what is known to us, the roads in the area were slippery, due to which the vehicle lost control.

Upon receiving information about the road accident in Ramban, officials from the local police station arrived at the spot and swiftly initiated a rescue operation. The police was able to recover the bodies of the four deceased from the accident site itself.

Further, it is known to us that the injured ones in the accident were rushed to the primary health centre in Ukhrall for immediate medical attention.
