Four friends consume poison after killing self pact in Bihar; 1 dead, 3 critical

Four friends aged between 18 to 20 attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substances in Bihar's Aurangabad district on Sunday evening.

Aurangabad (Bihar): Four friends aged between 18 to 20 attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substances in Bihar’s Aurangabad district on Sunday evening. In the incident, one of the girls lost her life on the way to the hospital, while the other three are undergoing treatment in critical condition at Magadh Medical College in Gaya.

The family members of the four girls, including two sisters, are left stunned, as they are unaware of the reasons behind this distressing suicide pact. The father of two of the girls expressed his confusion, stating, “I don’t understand why they consumed poison.”

Amanullah Khan, SDPO of Aurangabad, informed, “We have learned that four girls consumed poisonous substances together in a village under Kutumba police station. They were taken to City Hospital in Aurangabad, where one of them was declared brought dead, while three others were referred to Gaya’s Magadh Medical College for better treatment. Their condition is said to be critical.”

He further added, “We are waiting for the recovery of the girls to know the reasons behind their actions. At present, they are not in a condition to give a statement.”
